Vertical Lines Add Height When Decorating

Vertical lines in your decor will add height to a space. Painting vertical stripes on your walls or using wallpaper with vertical stripes, brings your eye up and down giving the illusion of more height in a room where there may not be any. Drapes can also be used to accomplish this. Long drapes give the appearance of height. Hanging your drapes on a rod higher than the window will give even more height to a space. Vertical lines can also be used to accentuate a tall room or tall windows, bringing more focus to this asset.  For more great design ideas visit
